While 4Sight has always been an integral part of your Control4 home automation system, there have been some new developments to the service and app that give you nearly limitless ways to customize your home. Home Customization

• Using your phone location to turn on the home: Never arrive at a dark home again with this feature. As you approach your home, your lights turn on, your door unlocks, and your favorite Spotify playlist comes on or your TV automatically turns to your favorite channel.
• Perform hands-free commands: Instantly program your home with Alexa when inspiration strikes. If you’re trying to meditate more at night, automatically turn the TV off and dim the lights at a specific time with a gentle reminder to find your inner peace. Or a far more practical application would be to have this on all TVs 24/7/365.

Remote Access

Never worry again if you forgot to turn off the lights or lock the doors with the Control4 app for Android or IOS. Peace of mind that your home is secure is right in your pocket, at your office computer, or even your smartwatch. A few features you can include are:

• Notifications and Alerts: Using “When>>Then”, you can program your home to notify you when your children arrive home, along with programming Alexa to remind them to do their chores and/or homework, and request they reach for an apple instead of a cookie for a midday snack.
• If using your location to unlock your doors isn’t your thing but you don’t want to fumble around with keys either, set up a command on your app that allows you to just open it and click “unlock doors” when you want.
• Connect to your cameras in real-time: Know your home is safe and secure at all times by accessing your Control4 app to open your security cameras.
